The Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy across its property portfolio. This role ensures compliance with international ESG standards, drives performance improvements in building operations, and supports certification efforts such as LEED O+M, EDGE, WELL, NET ZERO and GRESB. The ESG Manager works closely with senior leadership, property teams, and tenants to position the company as a landlord of choice for sustainability-minded multinational occupiers.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management or related field.
- Has minimum of 5 years work experience in delivering sustainability / ESG program or green building roles.
- Direct experience with green building certifications and ESG reporting.
- Knowledge of real estate operations and investor ESG framework (e.g. GRESB, CDP).
- Eligibility: LEED AP O+M, EDGE Expert, WELL AP, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office programs.
Job Responsibilities
ESG Strategy & Governance
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive ESG roadmap aligned with corporate goals and investor expectations.
- Integrates ESG targets into asset management, leasing, and property operations.
- Monitors regulatory trends and emerging ESG standards in the Philippines and globally.
Certification & Compliance
- Oversees all green building certifications (LEED O+M, EDGE, WELL, ISO 14001, BERDE as applicable).
- Leads annual GRESB benchmarking for the property portfolio.
- Coordinates with external consultants, certifying bodies, and auditors to ensure timely certification and recertification.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Tracks and reports on energy, water, waste, indoor air quality, and carbon emissions across all assets.
- Develops data dashboards and KPIs for internal and tenant reporting.
- Prepares ESG disclosures for investors, regulators, and marketing purposes.
Stakeholder & Tenant Engagement
- Collaborates with tenants to promote sustainable practices and reduce shared environmental impact.
- Conducts ESG awareness programs and training for internal teams.
- Represents the company in industry events, ESG forums, and stakeholder meetings.
Social & Governance Initiatives
- Supports CSR projects and community engagement initiatives.
- Ensures governance practices meet ethical, legal, and investor standards.
