Every August, we celebrate Buwan ng Wika – a time not only to honor our national language but also to embrace the rich culture and history of the Philippines. This year, the Daiichi Community joined in the festivities with fun, food and Filipino spirit.

We kicked things off with our online contest, Salawikain Remix, where the community showcased their wit and creativity by putting a modern twist on classic salawikain. To sweeten the celebration, everyone enjoyed one of the all-time favorite Pinoy snacks – ensaymada.

Of course, no Filipino festivity would be complete without games! The highlight was Premyo o Kahon, a playful spin on the iconic noontime game show Pera o Bayong, which brought plenty of excitement and laughter to the community.

It was heartwarming to see the active participation of everyone as we bonded over one of the nation’s cherished celebrations. Thank you to all who joined our Community Pinoy Treats – you made the event truly special.
