The Industrial Park (IP) Engineer ensures that all machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructure belonging to the company’s Industrial Parks are consistently operating properly and that all the required preventive and corrective maintenance work thereon are conducted. He/She functions with the technical team to meet Daiichi’s procedural and quality standards. His/Her responsibilities also include (but are not limited to) maintaining a clean and safe working environment, performing rounds, conducting routine assessments, performance of day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned property
Job Requirements
- A Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Must be a Registered Professional Engineer.
- Minimum of three (3) years of work experience, ideally should also be an accredited Safety and Pollution Control Officer.
- With Supervisory skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Willing to be assigned in Silang, Cavite.
Job Responsibilities
• Prepares progress reports and monitors the operational and maintenance performance of all machinery, equipment, systems, common areas (roads, sidewalks, fences, etc.), and infrastructure within the Industrial Parks.
• Develops and implements preventive and corrective maintenance plans, programs, and schedules with the technical team to ensure proper upkeep of all machinery, equipment, systems, common areas, and infrastructure.
• Formulates and recommends improvement plans to optimize the performance of Industrial Parks’ machinery, equipment, systems, common areas, and infrastructure.
• Responds to locators’ requests for assistance during critical situations that may affect Industrial Parks operations.
• Reviews locators’ fit-out, renovation, improvement, and modification plans to ensure compliance with the Deed of Restrictions (DR), Construction Rules and Regulations (CRR), Industrial Parks Rules and Regulations (IPRR), and statutory requirements.
• Monitors locators’ construction activities for compliance with approved plans, safety requirements, permit conditions, and gate pass procedures.
• Serves as the Pollution Control Officer and Safety Officer of the Industrial Parks.
• Assists the Estate Manager in overseeing Industrial Parks operations, contractors, service providers, and security functions to maintain safety, security, and operational efficiency.
• Assists the Estate Manager in ensuring locators’ compliance with the Industrial Parks’ DR, CRR, and IPRR.
