The Jr. Civil Engineer is responsible for the completion of assigned civil engineering phases of the company’s projects. Ensures the implementation of project plans according to Daiichi’s procedural and building standards. This scope of work carries over to the entire Daiichi Properties group of companies and its associations, both current and future additions.
Job Requirements
- A Graduate of Civil Engineering course.
- Must be a Registered Professional Civil Engineer with 1 to 2 years work experience.
- With immersion land development and in high-rise construction management.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensures that project plans are implemented according to: approved activities, timelines, resources available, procedures and standards.
- Monitors delivery of owner furnished materials.
- Monitors work accomplishment at site specially on rebar installation, concrete pouring and other civil works required to complete the project.
- Participates in the bid review and evaluation of suppliers and contractors.
- Estimates bill of quantities needed for a project.
- Monitors and witnesses progress of projects assigned.
- Supervises contractors ensuring the organized, timely, and smooth flow of work and compliance to documentary requirements.
- May be included in corporate projects requiring inter-departmental or cross-functional participation.
