This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the company has access to the necessary resources while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor relationships, and real estate industry dynamics.
Job Requirements
- Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the real estate or construction industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Material Procurement: Identify, source, and purchase construction materials, equipment, and supplies required for real estate projects, ensuring timely availability.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Cost Management: Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize procurement processes, minimize expenses, and maximize profitability.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure that purchased materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track stock levels, and maintain accurate records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Budget Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to make informed procurement decisions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, invoices, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
