Damayan sa Pasko: Daiichi Properties Brings Christmas Warmth to Crisis-Affected Communities

Community Story

December 23, 2020

In this season of giving, Daiichi Properties is one with everyone in bringing joy and warmth to our fellow Filipinos affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and recent typhoons. As our way of helping out our community, we have made donations to Caritas Manila through their Project Damayan program, and to Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation through their Maagang Noche Buena Program.

Caritas Damayan is the preventative health and disaster management program of Caritas Manila, and provides emergency assistance for 50,000 to 100,000 families each year. The program provides cash assistance, food and non-food items and Covid-safety kits to the poorest families, vulnerable groups, and service frontliners. As of December 17, 2020, the Caritas Damayan program has served more than 9.8 million individuals (roughly 1.9 million families).

Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation’s Maagang Noche Buena program reaches out to Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Taguig to make their Christmas a bit brighter. PWDs are one of the more vulnerable groups affected by the pandemic and the disruption to the economy it brought. The Maagang Noche Buena program provides the PWDs and their families with a food package perfect for Noche Buena.

Daiichi Properties remains committed to providing support and assistance to affected communities, and will continue to look for ways to help during these challenging times.
